Graphic Designer
Location: Port Elizabeth
Our client is a leading nicotine and vaping brand seeking a talented and versatile Graphic Designer to take ownership of visual content across all three brands. This role combines graphic design, packaging, digital creative, video editing, 3D rendering, motion graphics, and photography to deliver high-quality, on-brand content across digital, social media, ecommerce, retail, packaging, and advertising.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain consistent brand identity and visual standards across all three brands.
Design packaging and print artwork, including deadlines, finishes, and supplier sign-off.
Create social media graphics, digital campaigns, website assets, email visuals, and paid advertising creative across all platforms.
Develop 3D product renders, packaging mock-ups, lifestyle visuals, and product animations.
Edit short-form social media videos, campaign films, promotional content, and motion graphics.
Edit and retouch product photography for digital, ecommerce, and print use, while managing the product image library.
Design point-of-sale materials, retail branding, signage, and promotional collateral.
Maintain brand systems and design libraries in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
Manage creative assets, file organisation, and production-ready artwork.
Work closely with the Marketing Manager and creative team to deliver projects on time and to brief.
Handle ad hoc creative requests while maintaining quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Motion Design, or a related field.
3–5 years' experience in a graphic design or creative production role.
Proven packaging design experience. Your portfolio must showcase live packaging work, not concepts only.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Proficiency in Figma and experience maintaining brand systems.
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or equivalent video editing software.
Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and motion graphics.
Experience with 3D software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, or equivalent is advantageous.
Strong print production knowledge, including CMYK, Pantone, bleed, deadlines, finishes, and press-ready files.
Experience in photography editing, retouching, and colour correction.
Strong understanding of digital design, print production, packaging, and brand guidelines.
Excellent attention to detail, organisation, creativity, and ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to work at speed without compromising quality or accuracy.
Willingness to develop skills across 3D design, video, and emerging creative technologies.
