Assistant Lodge Manager – Luxury Safari Camp | Eastern Cape Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Lodge Manager for a luxury safari camp in Eastern Cape. This live-in role offers the opportunity to support lodge management while ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences on a 21/7 rotation. Requirements: · Proven experience in luxury hospitality management, ideally within a safari lodge or remote high-end environment · Strong leadership, team management, and staff motivation skills · Excellent guest service abilities and a passion for creating memorable experiences · Experience in procurement, stock control, and supplier management · Financial awareness with budgeting and cost-control experience · Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills · Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic lodge environment · Hospitality management certification or similar qualification advantageous Key Responsibilities: · Support the Lodge Manager in overseeing daily lodge operations · Manage and motivate lodge staff, fostering a professional and positive environment · Conduct weekly staff meetings and promote teamwork · Deliver exceptional guest service and handle guest feedback professionally · Oversee procurement, inventory management, and supplier relations · Coordinate housekeeping, F&B, guiding, and other operational departments · Ensure adherence to health, safety, and legal protocols · Support budget management, financial reporting, and cost control · Assist with staff training and development initiatives Package: · Salary: Negotiable DOE · Accommodation: Live-in provided · 21/7 rotation, meals on duty, and monthly tips To apply, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo Please note: Only candidates meeting the listed requirements will be contacted.
