The Role You will be a vital part of creating a refined, warm, and welcoming space, ensuring that every guest experiences a thoughtful and memorable dining journey from start to finish. Core Responsibilities Guest Service: Deliver attentive, polished service that feels natural rather than scripted. Anticipate guest needs and respond with genuine warmth, discretion, and professionalism. Menu Knowledge & Storytelling: Present and guide guests through the menu with confidence, insight, and enthusiasm. Present dishes with clarity and pride, sharing insight into ingredients and inspiration when appropriate. Table Care: Ensure tables are set, maintained, and cleared to the restaurant’s high standards. Operations & Standards: Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service, contributing daily to the warm and refined atmosphere of the restaurant. Who Our Client Is Looking For Experience: Previous restaurant service experience within a quality restaurant or hospitality environment. Personality: Warm, attentive, professional, and genuinely guest-focused with a desire to create a positive dining experience. Communication: Excellent communication skills; comfortable interacting with guests and confidently explaining menu items. Presentation: Professional presentation, well-groomed, and highly attentive to detail. Team Player: A reliable professional who works seamlessly with colleagues during fast-paced service periods. What’s on Offer Salary: ZAR 7,000 – ZAR 10,000 per month (dependent on experience). The opportunity to be part of an exciting new restaurant launch from day one.
