OPERATIONAL MANAGER (CERES)

They are seeking an energetic and driven Operational Manager who shares their commitment to high performance and brings a strong “can-do” attitude to the role. The ideal candidate is hands-on, solutions-focused, and leads with a positive, practical leadership style that motivates teams and drives operational efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualification in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or a related Business field
- Proven experience in operations or project management
- Experience in systems management
- Strong planning, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Strategic and visionary thinking ability
- Advanced computer literacy (experience with HAS+ or similar operations/logistics software will be advantageous)
- Ability to work under pressure and manage after-hours crises
- High ethical standards and integrity
- Innovative, strategic thinker with strong problem-solving capability
- Valid EC1 driver’s license
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing daily operations, fleet management, staff supervision, service delivery, and compliance for portable toilet and sanitation services across the Western Cape.
- Ensures efficient, safe, and customer-focused operations while controlling costs and improving overall efficiency.
- Develops and maintains effective systems to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversees the building, development, and commissioning of new units.
A market-related remuneration package is offered, including contributions to a Pension Fund.
