Are you the person others turn to when they get stuck in Tekla Structures?
We’re looking for an experienced Tekla professional to join a specialist construction technology environment as a Tekla Technical Support Consultant, currently based in either Centurion OR Cape Town on a hybrid basis.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with strong hands-on Tekla Structures experience who enjoys solving technical problems, helping users get more from the software, and sharing their knowledge through support and training.
You’ll work closely with customers across the AEC market, supporting Tekla software products while also contributing to customisation, product development and training.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Provide technical support across Tekla Structures, Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds and related products.
- Diagnose and resolve software, modelling and configuration-related issues.
- Reproduce, test and troubleshoot customer-reported technical problems.
- Support customers telephonically, via email, WhatsApp, remotely and occasionally on-site.
- Manage software licensing, activation and customer onboarding support.
- Customise Tekla drawings, reports, templates, profiles, bolt configurations and other functionality.
- Maintain and improve the Tekla South Africa environment.
- Test new developments, updates and software fixes before release.
- Prepare and deliver customer training and supporting material.
- Assist internal teams with technical and pre-sales support.
- Support technical demonstrations, product launches, seminars and customer events.
- Escalate and track unresolved technical issues through the appropriate channels
