As a Mechatronic Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and implement mechatronic systems for mining equipment and automation solutions
- Integrate PLCs, sensors, actuators, and control systems into mining machinery
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting
- Optimize equipment performance through data analysis and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with mining safety regulations and industry standards
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, reports, and specifications
- Provide technical support during installation, maintenance, and system upgrades
? What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronic Engineering or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in mining systems, heavy industry, or automation
- Strong PLC programming knowledge (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems & industrial networks
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)
- Solid understanding of mining safety standards and operational environments
- Willingness to travel to mine sites
