Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure.
- Manage and support LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewall, and routing environments.
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity and infrastructure issues.
- Perform security hardening, patch management, vulnerability assessments, and support cyber security initiatives.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, reports, and asset records.
- Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and backup management processes.
- Assist with Microsoft administration platforms, Teams, and related services.
- Ensure compliance with SLA requirements and IT service management standards.
- CompTIA Network+ certification is essential.
- Preferred minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a networking or IT infrastructure support role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.
- MikroTik certification or extensive MikroTik router experience.
- Solid understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, routing, switching, and advanced WAN/LAN configurations.
- Firewall administration and monitoring experience.
- Understanding of cyber security principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management principles.
- Understanding of the NIST framework.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Willingness to travel and occasionally work outside standard business hours.
