Job Summary
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities and support marketing initiatives.
Manage and deliver consulting projects from planning to completion.
Compile and maintain Fixed Asset Registers for clients.
Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Perform financial management, accounting, and reporting functions.
Provide municipal asset and liability management support.
Implement and maintain compliance with GRAP, mSCOA, MFMA, and PFMA requirements.
Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation.
Support the development and improvement of internal systems and processes.
Assist with the preparation of project bids and proposals.
Perform any other related consulting duties as required
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in one of the following:
Financial Accounting
Cost and Management Accounting
Public Finance
Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience within the public sector, specifically in financial management.
Practical experience with:
PFMA
MFMA
mSCOA
GRAP
SAICA articles or training contract experience will be advantageous
Skills & Competencies
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Effective time management and organisational skills.
