Job Summary
In order to be considered the following is required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or a related field; MBA is an advantage
- Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others
- Deep understanding of sales processes, methodologies and tools
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Experience in (specify industry e.g. technology, SaaS) is highly desirable
- Successfully established and scaled a high-performing sales organization from the ground up
- Proven track record as a senior sales executive, preferably at the C-level, with significant achievements in driving revenue growth
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve short-term and long-term revenue goals
- Team Management: Lead, mentor and scale a high-performing sales team to exceed targets and deliver exceptional client value
- Revenue Growth: Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, optimizing the sales pipeline and enhancing client acquisition strategies
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product and customer success teams to align strategies and enhance client satisfaction
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasting, reporting and insights to the executive team for informed decision-making
- Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and integrate innovative sales techniques to maintain a competitive edge
- Client Relationships: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners
