Our client in the Manufacturing sector is currently looking to employ a Warranty Administrator to join their team based in Kraaifontein Industria, Cape Town.

Requirements:
- Matric or relevant qualifications.
- Minimum 2-3 years warranty experience at either passenger of commercial vehicle dealership.
- Experience within the Truck Industry preferred.
- Warranty and Costing background a must.
- Valid code 8 licence.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Workshop Manager in a constructive manner.
- Personally manage work efficiently.
- Build sound relationships with other departments.
- To keep in line with the service department procedures.
- To invoice and cost job cards on a daily basis.
- Identification of warranty claims and processing.
- Follow up on claims on a daily basis.
- Submission of customer goodwill claims where failures occur out of the warranty parameters.
- Responsible of all weekend and month end reports.
- Responsible to keep record of warranty claims and parts.
- Responsible for the safe keep of the warranty parts.
- Interacting between head office and other stakeholders.
- Relief for service advisor from time to time.
- Summary of “work in progress” on a daily basis.
- May be required to perform other duties that may reasonably be required by Management.
- Ensure that all tasks performed comply with minimum standards required.
