WHAT YOU NEED Minimum 2 years' guest relations or front office experience within a 4 or 5-star hotel environment . Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management advantageous. Strong knowledge of guest service, VIP hosting, and complaint handling. Proficiency in Opera PMS and Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-centric approach. Professional presentation and confidence when interacting with high-profile guests. Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. THE ROLE Act as the main point of contact for guests, ensuring a seamless and personalised experience from arrival to departure. Anticipate guest needs and provide personalised assistance, recommendations, and solutions. Handle guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally while ensuring effective service recovery. Coordinate VIP arrivals, special occasions, and guest requests with relevant departments. Maintain excellent knowledge of Cape Town attractions, dining experiences, and local activities. Work closely with Front Office, Concierge, and Food & Beverage teams to deliver exceptional service. Maintain accurate guest profiles and preferences to enhance repeat guest experiences. Uphold the hotel's service standards, brand values, and commitment to excellence.
