Job Summary
Our client, a growing, purpose-driven organisation to appoint an experienced Operations Manager: Warehouse to lead and optimise their warehouse and fulfilment operations.
This role is ideal for a hands-on operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience driving warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and team performance within high-volume distribution or FMCG environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled on time and in line with service level agreements
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management
- Optimise warehouse layout and operational workflows
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Lead and develop warehouse supervisors, team leaders, and operational staff
- Manage operational budgets and monitor warehouse KPIs
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse or supply chain operations
- At least 3 years in a management role
- Experience in FMCG or high-volume distribution environments
- Exposure to WMS and ERP systems
Advantageous
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies
- Experience with ISO standards
