Revenue Manager / Reservations Manager - Luxury Wine Estate – Franschhoek A wine estate based in Franschhoek is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Revenue Manager / Reservations Manager to oversee reservations operations while driving revenue optimisation across accommodation and related services. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of hospitality revenue strategies. Key Duties and Responsibilities Revenue Management Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximise occupancy, ADR, and overall revenue Monitor demand, market trends, and competitor pricing within the Franschhoek and luxury wine estate market Set and manage room rates, restrictions, and availability across all distribution channels Prepare revenue forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management Analyse booking patterns, pace reports, and yield performance Reservations Management Oversee the reservations department and daily booking operations Ensure efficient handling of all reservations, enquiries, amendments, and cancellations Maintain accurate rate loading and inventory across PMS, channel managers, and OTAs Ensure a high standard of guest communication and conversion of enquiries into confirmed bookings Manage group bookings, special events, and exclusive use reservations Systems & Distribution Manage and optimise PMS, channel managers, and booking platforms Ensure rate parity and accurate content across all online channels Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align promotions, packages, and campaigns Collaborate with website partners to optimise direct bookings Team & Operations Train; mentor, and support reservations staff to ensure service excellence Establish and maintain SOPs for reservations and revenue processes Handle guest feedback relating to bookings and pricing in a professional manner Liaise closely with operations, front office, and finance teams Requirements Minimum 5 years’ experience in revenue management and/or reservations management within hospitality, luxury accommodation, or wine estate environments Strong understanding of revenue management principles and distribution channels Proficiency in PMS, channel managers, and booking platforms Advanced analytical and reporting skills with high attention to detail Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong organisational and leadership abilities Ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions Personal Attributes Commercially astute with a strategic mindset Guest-focused with strong service ethics Proactive; adaptable, and solutions-driven Professional and well-presented Location Franschhoek; Western Cape To Apply Please submit: An updated CV Contactable references Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
