Position: Restaurant Manager Location: Camps Bay, Cape Town Hospitality Hire is recruiting on behalf of a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Camps Bay for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the operations of its elegant 120-seater restaurant . This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional with a proven track record in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) - Hospitality Management qualification advantageous - Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager within a 5-star hotel or luxury fine dining restaurant (Essential) - Strong hands-on leadership experience - Excellent knowledge of food, wine, beverages, and luxury service standards - Experience with restaurant reservation systems and POS systems - Strong financial acumen including stock control, budgeting, cost control and reporting - Excellent communication and guest relations skills - Well-presented with exceptional attention to detail - Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining impeccable service standards Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the 120-seater restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences at every service - Manage, coach and develop the restaurant team to achieve consistently high service standards - Ensure smooth coordination between the restaurant, kitchen and bar teams - Drive service excellence through floor presence, guest engagement and quality control - Manage staff scheduling, performance management and ongoing training - Monitor stock control, ordering, beverage management and cost controls - Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations - Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally and efficiently - Assist with budgeting, forecasting and achieving departmental financial targets - Continuously identify opportunities to improve service delivery and operational efficiency What We're Looking For We are looking for a dynamic hospitality leader who leads by example, thrives in a luxury environment, and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences.
