Job Title: Restaurant Manager (Breakfast & Lunch) Location: Bantry Bay, Cape Town Hospitality Hire is recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Manager on behalf of a leading 4-star hotel in Bantry Bay, Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and hands-on hospitality professional to lead one of the hotel's busiest outlets, overseeing both the breakfast and lunch operations. We are looking for a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while leading, developing, and motivating a large Food & Beverage team. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 (Matric) Hospitality Management qualification advantageous Minimum 3 years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager within a busy 4 or 5-star hotel or high-volume restaurant Proven experience managing high-volume breakfast and lunch services Strong leadership and team management skills Experience with Micros Simphony and Opera PMS Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, stock control, labour management and cost control Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills Guest-focused with a passion for service excellence Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays Valid South African ID or valid work permit Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all breakfast and lunch restaurant operations, ensuring seamless, efficient service Deliver exceptional guest experiences through visible floor leadership and proactive guest engagement Manage; coach and develop the restaurant team to achieve high service standards Ensure staffing levels are appropriate for high-volume service periods Drive food and beverage sales while maintaining excellent service standards Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to ensure efficient service and guest satisfaction Monitor stock levels, control costs and minimise wastage Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards Oversee daily cash-ups, reporting and operational administration Maintain exceptional presentation, cleanliness and operational standards throughout the restaurant What We're Looking For We are looking for a confident and energetic Restaurant Manager who enjoys leading from the floor and thrives in a busy, guest-focused environment.
