Our client in the Manufacturing sector is currently looking to employ a Parts Picker to join their team based in Kraaifontein Industria, Cape Town
This role is critical in ensuring a constant supply of parts to technicians, supporting efficient warehouse operations, and maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety.

Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)

1–2 years’ experience in a similar warehouse or parts role

Full understanding of warehouse operations
-
Accurate counting and stock handling ability
-
Code 10 driver’s licence
-
Physically fit and able to handle pressure
-
Team player with a confident and proactive approach
-
Ability to read and write English
Responsibilities:
Parts and Warehouse Operations
-
Support the Parts Manager in managing parts supply to technicians
-
Accurately action all parts picking slips
-
Check and record picked parts before packing
-
Assist with other warehouse duties as required
-
Maintain workplace and surrounding areas clean and tidy
Compliance and Safety
-
Adhere to Health and Safety rules at all times
-
Follow company rules regarding tools, special tools, and assets
-
Participate in relevant training programmes
Teamwork and Professionalism
-
Build strong relationships with colleagues and peers
-
Present excellent task performance and manage work efficiently
-
Perform all reasonable requests made by the Parts Manager
