As Night Manager ; you will oversee and manage all hotel operations during the night shift, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, safety, and seamless service delivery. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor all employees on the night shift, ensuring adherence to company standards, policies, and procedures Lead; coach, train, and support team members, addressing performance where necessary Direct and oversee all hotel operations during the night shift Conduct nightly staff briefings and ensure clear communication across departments Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of senior management, handling guest complaints, problem-solving, disturbances, and special requests Participate in decision-making regarding guest relocations during overbooked periods and ensure smooth execution Monitor and develop team performance through scheduling, task allocation, training, counselling, and performance evaluations Complete the daily night audit accurately, including reconciliations and preparation of Daily Revenue Reports Support the Front Office Manager in implementing and maintaining financial controls within the department Requirements Matric Certificate Hospitality qualification from a recognised South African or international institution Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Front Office or Night Manager in a busy, high-demand environment Proven leadership experience with strong people management skills Solid background in Rooms Division and Food & Beverage operations Ability to work shifts and fulfil duty management responsibilities as required Valid driver’s licence Proficiency in relevant systems and technology, including Micros, Opera, speed point machines, CCTV, and MS 365 Please forward your updated CV, a recent profile photo and contactable references.
