Marketing Manager - Luxury Hotel Collection - Cape Town Negotiable DOE | Live Out Kendrick Recruitment is currently recruiting for a luxury hotel collection based in Cape Town. Our client is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to drive brand visibility, revenue growth, and memorable guest experiences through innovative marketing strategies. Role and Responsibilities The Marketing Manager will oversee all marketing activities, both online and offline, and contribute to the overall success of the company. Key responsibilities include: Marketing Strategy & Planning • Develop, maintain, and execute an annual marketing strategy and budget • Ensure all financial processes for the marketing department are followed and budgets adhered to • Set measurable marketing objectives and targets to drive revenue growth and strengthen brand positioning • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine strategies • Coordinate marketing activities with sales efforts to maximise effectiveness Digital Marketing • Oversee the group’s online presence, including websites, social media, and online advertising • Collaborate with third-party suppliers to execute effective digital marketing campaigns • Monitor website traffic, online bookings, and key digital metrics • Implement SEO strategies to enhance online visibility and manage online reputation • Maintain paid ad campaigns on Google Ads and other platforms to drive direct business Content Creation & Brand Custodianship • Develop engaging and on-brand content for websites, social media, emails, and blogs • Write compelling copy for advertisements, promotional materials, and marketing collateral • Collaborate with designers and team members to produce multimedia content • Maintain consistency in brand messaging across all platforms Visual Content & Graphic Design • Guide the creation of visual assets, including graphics, videos, and infographics • Oversee development of branding materials such as brochures, signage, and logos • Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a professional image Public Relations • Build and maintain positive relationships with media, bloggers, and influencers • Craft and distribute press releases and manage media inquiries • Handle crisis communications to ensure a positive public perception Market Research & Analysis • Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and industry trends • Analyse data and feedback to provide actionable insights • Monitor competitor strategies and identify new opportunities Events & Partnerships • Organise events, promotions, conferences, and partnerships to strengthen brand presence • Coordinate logistics for marketing campaigns to ensure successful execution Administrative Duties • Assist with tasks or duties as part of the core management team • Provide administrative support to the marketing department, including scheduling and correspondence • Oversee and manage all photoshoots from start to finish • Manage production and delivery of printed marketing materials • Maintain inventory of marketing materials and supplies Requirements • Proven experience (5+ years) in a marketing management role, preferably in hospitality or boutique hotels • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content creation, and public relations • Proficiency in CRM systems, analytics tools, and design software advantageous • Excellent communication, organisational, and project management skills • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and passion for brand storytelling • Strategic thinker able to align marketing efforts with business goals • Collaborative team player with leadership abilities • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment • Customer-focused with commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
