Job Summary
A well-established dental practice in Simon's Town, Cape Town, is looking for a reliable and experienced Locum Dental Assistant to join their team for a temporary period.
Position: Locum Dental Assistant
Location: Simon's Town, Cape Town
Locum Period: Approximately 9 November 2026 – 31 January 2027
Working Hours:
Monday – Friday: 07:30 – 16:00
Lunch: 13:30 – 14:30
Two Saturdays per month: 08:00 – 13:00 (1st and 3rd Saturday)
Public holidays off
Practice closed from approximately 23/24 December and reopens on 4 January
Requirements:
Active HPCSA-Registration
Previous dental assisting experience essential
Good knowledge of dental practice procedures
Professional, reliable, and well-presented
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Available for the full locum period preferred
