This role offers the opportunity to shape the company’s strategic expansion and ensure robust compliance frameworks as they grow.

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Own the regulatory, legal, and compliance landscape, independently managing complex issues with minimal oversight while maintaining clear visibility over licenses, filings, obligations, disputes, and deadlines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external advisors on legal, regulatory, compliance, tax, credit, and accounting matters—driving integrated recommendations and implementation plans.
• Build and embed systems and standards for regulatory correspondence, risk assessments, and market reviews—enhancing proactive legal and regulatory input across product, pricing, credit, and partnership decisions.
• Oversee the compliance program, including AML/KYC, sanctions, anti-bribery & corruption, data protection & privacy, cybersecurity, conflicts, complaints, and third-party risk management.
• Lead regulatory expansion readiness assessments for up to three potential markets in 2027, providing strategic reports to leadership and the board on risks and responses.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Compliance, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in legal, regulatory, compliance, or advisory roles.
• Proven expertise in legal matters, regulatory filings, compliance, risk management, and business analysis.
