This is a strong opportunity for an intermediate developer who wants more than a narrowly defined coding role. You’ll work in a small engineering team, build features end-to-end, work with substantial operational datasets and have genuine ownership over what gets shipped.

You’ll also have exposure to AI/LLM-enabled product development and occasionally work directly with customers to understand operational problems and translate them into technical solutions.

What you’ll work on

• Full-stack product development across React and TypeScript
  
• Backend services using Node.js / NestJS
  
• PostgreSQL and time-series / high-volume data
  
• Deploying and maintaining services in AWS
  
• Building data, analytics and AI-enabled product features
  
• Improving code quality and contributing to technical decisions
  
• Translating customer requirements into practical technical solutions
  
• Supporting less experienced developers as you grow
  

Requirements

• 3+ years’ commercial software development experience
  
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related discipline
  
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript
  
• Commercial experience with React
  
• Backend development experience in Node.js, ideally NestJS
  
• Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals, including data modelling and query performance
  
• Exposure to AWS or another major cloud platform
  
• Exposure to IoT / IIoT, connected devices, telemetry or real-time data would be highly advantageous
  
• Interest or experience in AI / LLM-enabled development
  
• A proactive problem-solver who can take ownership and work through ambiguity without needing constant direction
  
• Strong communication skills and comfortable engaging directly with customers when required.
