Guest Liaison / Night Relief - 5-Star Luxury Boutique Hotel - Cape Town Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a sophisticated and guest-focused Guest Liaison / Night Relief for one of Cape Town's most iconic and celebrated 5-star luxury boutique hotels, situated in the prestigious Bantry Bay neighbourhood. This is a role where first and final impressions are everything. You will be the face of the property across early, late and overnight shifts, delivering a seamlessly personal guest experience with precision, discretion and genuine warmth. Please note: Candidates already based in Cape Town will be given strong preference. This is a live-out, shift-based position including night shifts. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a 5-star or equivalent luxury hospitality environment - essential Formal Hospitality qualification preferred Proficient in Opera, POS, MS Word, Excel and Outlook - essential Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong administrative background with a meticulous eye for detail Knowledge of Cape Town's cultural, dining and leisure offerings advantageous Well-presented; sophisticated and naturally hospitable Flexible and willing to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends Stable work history with contactable references Key Responsibilities: Deliver an intuitive, personalised guest experience from check-in to departure Handle guest reservations, billing, profiles and correspondence with accuracy and discretion Prepare guest lists, itineraries, daily reports and shift handovers Manage and maintain all administrative systems (Opera, POS, MS Office) Support concierge services and assist guests with bespoke recommendations and bookings Oversee overnight operations, ensuring the property is secure and guest-ready each morning Liaise with all departments to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold house standards Shift Structure: Early: 06:30 to 15:30 Late: 14:00 to 23:00 Night: 22:00 to 07:00 Package: Gross Salary: R16,800 per month Medical Aid: Discovery Health - 50% employer contribution (Key Care plan, main member) Pension: Momentum - 6% contribution from both employer and employee Gratuity: Paid monthly in arrears per split calculation Transport: Available for operational line staff within designated pickup areas Live-out position Should you feel you are the right fit for this role, please apply with your updated CV, contactable references and a recent head and shoulders photo ASAP! ?
