Energetic and Professional Graphic Designer with Tourism Background If tourism, unique destinations and world-renowned attractions make you tick, we need you to submit your most recent graphic design skills for consideration. The successful candidate will have proper design skill, a keen eye for detail, understand the historical brand, tell awesome branded stories, and be responsible for developing incredible designs and creative ideas in a fast paced team environment. Responsibilities: Design art and copy layouts for web, digital communications, magazines/newspapers, print collateral, branding, etc. Generate various collateral, advertising, presentations and internal deliverables that are thoughtfully-designed and brand-compliant Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layouts based on the corporate identity Apply proper esthetics and principles of layout and design Prepare instructions for supplier to assemble final layouts for printing Adhere to and maintain company brand standards Complete assignments on time and at optimum quality Maintain; prioritise and track projects on a daily basis Organize and maintain library of photos, logos and completed work Keep projects within budget Assist with special projects as requested Requirements: Strong attention to detail Advanced in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, PhotoShop, InDesign and Acrobat) and the use of Distiller Proficient in Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook) Strong visual, verbal and written communication skills Understands style guidelines, design process, creative workflow and print production Capable of taking a project from concept to completion Knows principles of graphic design, layout and typography Ability to execute designs efficiently and at a high level of quality Budget understanding and keen eye for cost savings Experience: Proven experience and certified skills in graphic design or similar field from an accredited establishment or equivalent work experience Experience in travel, tourism or premium brands Minimum 3 years of experience Creating graphics for web or online environments will be advantageous Experience developing and maintaining brand designs Trafficking projects and managing a production queue
