A well-established four-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking a highly skilled Food & Beverage Manager to oversee its dining and beverage operations. This leadership role requires a professional with extensive operational knowledge and the ability to manage teams effectively, ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction. Duties and Responsibilities: Manage daily operations across all F&B outlets including restaurant, bar, room service, and banqueting Lead; train, and motivate a diverse team to maintain exceptional service standards Develop staff schedules, manage attendance, and oversee performance appraisals Work closely with the culinary team to coordinate menus, promotions, and events Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times Conduct daily briefings and regular training sessions for staff Monitor guest satisfaction levels and respond promptly to feedback or complaints Prepare and manage departmental budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier negotiations Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review Ensure all outlets are properly set up, presented, and maintained Drive revenue through upselling, promotions, and service innovation Collaborate with sales and events teams to ensure smooth execution of functions and conferences Stay abreast of hospitality trends to continuously enhance guest experience Requirements: SA Citizen Matric / Grad 12 qualification Tertiary qualification in hospitality / F&B management Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a senior F&B management role, in a 4* or 5* hotel Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage and inspire teams Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and cost control experience Exceptional knowledge of food, beverage, and service standards Ability to manage multiple outlets simultaneously Professional appearance and a guest-focused attitude Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure This position is only open to EE Candidates.
