Our client, a well-established national supplier of business and workplace solutions, is seeking three proactive External Sales Consultants to join their Western Cape sales team. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy being on the road, prospecting new clients, and building long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within your designated territory.
- Conduct daily cold calling and client visits.
- Develop and maintain a strong prospect pipeline.
- Generate quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Build lasting relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
- Achieve sales and activity targets.
- Conduct market research and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and account support.
- Represent the business professionally within the market.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' proven external sales experience.
- Strong new business development and cold-calling experience.
- Demonstrated success in a target-driven sales environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Computer literacy (MS Office essential).
- Valid South African driver's licence.
- Reliable own vehicle is essential.
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Cape region.
