Job Summary A boutique hotel in Cape Town is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Events Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all events hosted at the property. This role is ideal for a creative yet operationally strong individual who can deliver exceptional guest experiences while managing multiple events from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Plan; coordinate, and execute corporate, social, and private events Manage all event enquiries, site inspections, proposals, and confirmations Liaise with clients to understand event requirements and expectations Coordinate with internal departments including Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Front Office, and Housekeeping Manage event timelines, setups, staffing requirements, and breakdowns Oversee event budgets, costing, and invoicing Ensure events are delivered in line with the boutique hotel’s brand and service standards Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and service providers Conduct post-event follow-ups to ensure guest satisfaction Requirements Previous experience as an Events Manager or Events Coordinator within a hotel or boutique hospitality environment Strong understanding of event planning, banquet operations, and F&B coordination Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with attention to detail Strong client-facing skills with a service-driven mindset Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required Proficiency in MS Office and hotel systems advantageous How to Apply Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV and a recent profile photo.
