Director of Food & Beverage - 5 star Luxury Hotel - Cape Town, Western Cape Salary Package R45;000 (Negotiable DOE) Plus performance-based bonuses Accomodation is NOT provided. Role Overview A prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Food & Beverage to lead and oversee all F&B operations. This senior leadership role requires a strategic, hands-on professional with a strong operational and financial background, capable of driving service excellence, profitability, and team performance across multiple outlets. Key Responsibilities Oversee all food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, and room service Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction and operational profitability Lead; mentor, and manage senior F&B managers, chefs, and service teams Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company standards Manage budgets, forecasts, cost controls, and financial performance Collaborate closely with Executive Management and other departments to deliver consistent 5-star guest experiences Minimum Requirements (Essential) Proven experience in a senior Food & Beverage leadership role within 5* hospitality Strong operational, financial, and people management skills Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple outlets and large teams Relevant hospitality, culinary, or business qualification Advantageous Experience within large-scale or multi-outlet 5-star hotel environments Strong understanding of luxury service delivery and brand standards Experience driving innovation, sustainability, and service excellence ?
