Our client is on a mission to bring better beverages to Africa sourcing wine and spirits directly from top independent producers and delivering them, along with the stories behind them, across multiple African markets. At the heart of their offering is a bespoke training and list-management platform that has equipped thousands of learners across the African hospitality industry with the knowledge, confidence, and stories they need to sell beverages brilliantly and create unforgettable guest experiences. This is a role for someone who is equal parts educator, storyteller, and marketer. The Digital Learning & Engagement Manager will own the creation of courses and learning journeys on a bespoke proprietary platform turning producer knowledge and beverage stories into learning experiences that people genuinely want to complete. ??? ???????????????? Design; build, and maintain engaging courses and learning content across multiple formats — video, written, interactive, and live. Translate producer knowledge and beverage stories into clear, compelling learning experiences that people genuinely want to complete. Build and nurture an active learner community, driving enrolment, participation, and completion through targeted engagement strategies. Plan and execute structured learning journeys mapped to the needs of different partners and markets across Africa. Own the administration and optimisation of the Learning Management System, including reporting and performance tracking. Plan and run marketing and email campaigns to promote courses and drive learner engagement. Use data and analytics to continuously improve the learner experience and demonstrate impact. ???????????? Proven experience in learning & development, education, or instructional design, with demonstrable course creation skills across multiple formats. Hands-on experience with LMS software — administration, content management, and reporting. Strong storytelling ability with a marketing mindset and experience running email campaigns (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, HubSpot, or similar). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and execute projects end-to-end. Based in Stellenbosch, Cape Town, or Somerset West. Knowledge of or passion for wine, spirits, or the wider beverage industry; hospitality or tourism experience advantageous.
