The successful candidate will work closely with data engineers, BI developers, architects and business stakeholders to design scalable data models, enable advanced analytics, and support the development of AI-powered tools such as internal copilots, agents, and intelligent dashboards.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Architecture Design
- Analyse and understand existing databases, data warehouses and data flows, including tables, relationships, measures and dependencies.
- Provide guidance on best-practice data modelling and architecture when introducing new metrics, measures or data elements.
- Identify where data changes or enhancements are required and define optimal data design approaches.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers and solution architects to design scalable and maintainable data solutions.
- Identify data quality, structure and lineage risks, recommending improvements where necessary.
AI Strategy & Enablement
- Contribute to the development and execution of the organisation’s AI strategy, with a focus on practical business enablement.
- Design AI-ready data structures and governed access layers to support AI and API-driven use cases.
- Support AI platforms and services (e.g. LLM environments such as Amazon Bedrock or similar) through effective data preparation and architecture.
- Ensure secure, reliable and governed data access for AI-driven solutions.
- Identify and prioritise AI use cases based on business value, feasibility and data readiness.
Analytics, Dashboards & AI Agents
- Translate business challenges into practical analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
- Design and develop dashboards, reports and analytical views to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Design and configure AI agents or copilots for internal users using available AI platforms and data services.
- Enable self-service analytics capabilities, including reusable datasets and analytical components.
- Continuously improve analytics environments, dashboards and user interaction models.
- Collaborate with business users to refine and enhance solutions based on feedback and adoption.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Perform end-to-end analysis of data, analytics and AI environments to identify improvement opportunities.
- Design and deliver integrated solutions spanning data structures, analytics layers and AI-enabled interfaces.
- Contribute hands-on to solution implementation, including data preparation, analytics logic and AI configuration.
- Work across business, data engineering, BI, AI and architecture teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Produce clear documentation, architecture designs and implementation artefacts to support sustainability and reuse.
Minimum Requirements
