Job Summary
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
An established organisation is looking for an experienced C-Track Operator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring vehicles and drivers, ensuring routes are followed, identifying exceptions and escalating operational or security concerns.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor vehicle movements and driver activity using C-Track and vehicle tracking systems.
Monitor routes, trip progress, unauthorised stops, speeding and route deviations.
Investigate and report irregularities, incidents and exceptions.
Communicate with drivers, management and relevant stakeholders regarding operational issues.
Escalate security, safety and operational incidents when required.
Maintain accurate tracking records and daily reports.
Monitor driver performance and identify potential risks.
Ensure accurate capturing and updating of tracking information.
Assist with resolving vehicle, route and operational queries.
Remain alert and responsive during unexpected incidents or route deviations.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 / Matric
Previous experience operating C-Track Crystal, Tracking Africa or similar vehicle tracking/monitoring software.
Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook.
Previous experience in fleet, transport, logistics, dispatch or vehicle monitoring will be advantageous.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Ability to identify and respond appropriately to route deviations and operational emergencies.
Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
