Job Summary
A well-established hotel in Cape Town is seeking a Brand Assistant with 2–3 years’ experience in a hotel or hospitality environment to support brand, marketing, and communications initiatives across the property. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented hospitality professional who understands hotel operations and brand standards and is looking to grow within a marketing or communications function. Key Responsibilities Brand Support Support the implementation and maintenance of brand standards across all hotel touchpoints Assist with brand consistency, tone of voice, and visual identity Conduct brand checks across departments and guest-facing areas Marketing & Communications Assist with marketing material, internal communication, and promotional content Support drafting of basic copy for guest communication, promotions, and campaigns Assist with coordination of campaigns, events, and activations Digital & Content Support Assist with website content updates and accuracy Support social media coordination with internal teams or agencies Maintain content libraries, brand assets, and image databases Operational Coordination Liaise with Rooms, F&B, Sales, Events, and HR departments on brand-related needs Support signage, menus, guest collateral, and on-property branding Assist with launch and event preparation Administrative Support Maintain brand templates, guidelines, and approval processes Track marketing requests and deadlines Assist with reporting and basic performance tracking Minimum Requirements Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Branding, or a related field Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a hotel or hospitality environment (essential) Understanding of hotel departments and service standards Strong organisational and written communication skills High attention to detail and brand awareness Proficiency in MS Office; digital and social media exposure advantageous Personal Attributes Professional; organised, and brand-conscious Strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment Good interpersonal and coordination skills Eager to learn and develop within hospitality marketing
