Job Summary
We are looking for a Hotel Manager to assist with the running of this unique Hotel in the Gardens. You will report directly to the General Manager The Hotel Manager is responsible for managing the assigned departments to produce a consistent, high quality guest experience, providing a professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with the property’s procedures, to maximize guest satisfaction. ·General Management To assume the full responsibility of the Hotel operations. CCMQ General Manager monthly or as required and update on property operations. To maintain and ensure the good will of the brand at property level. To be a key ambassador of its brands including hosting Site Inspections, communicating with the market and hosting journalists. To ensure the management personnel of the property is up to the company standard, ensuring a streamlined and effective management structure in line with the with hospitality trends. To ensure effective monthly departmental meetings take place, accurate minutes are taken and follow ups completed. To assist in achieving the best procurement agreements for the property. To keep the property innovative in its guest experience and up to date with both competitor offerings and current trends in the hospitality industry. To be readily available to deal with all guest queries and complaints. To provide effective leadership through professional personnel management and encouragement of all subordinates, including mediation. Establish and support community partnerships ensuring that the property is consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders. To ensure the timeous completion of the required reporting. REQUIREMENTS – KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Degree/Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality (advantageous) Sound experience in Hospitality Management positions. Sound knowledge of product and supply. Valid Code 08 drivers license and own reliable transport essential Excellent attention to detail, excellent hygiene principles. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), practicing honest communication Team player with positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control. Excellent time management and self-discipline, interpersonal & problem-solving skills. Committed and loyal, adaptable, and flexible.
