Job Summary
??? ??????????? ??????????? is partnering with a dynamic and growing organization, offering premium short-term rental accommodation in Cape Town, to identify a detail orientated and technically strong ?????????? to join their finance team. This role is suited to a structured and analytical individual who is comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day accounting functions while supporting broader financial oversight. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial records, while contributing to effective reporting and operational decision making. Working closely with the Head of Finance, the position requires someone who is proactive, solution driven, and confident in managing multiple financial processes within a deadline driven environment. The role offers the opportunity to be involved across the full accounting cycle, while contributing to continuous improvement within the finance function. Requirements • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related field, with a BCom Accounting • Minimum of 3 years relevant accounting experience within a structured hospitality finance environment • Strong working knowledge of VAT, payroll processes, tax compliance, and e Filing • Proven experience with accounting systems such as Xero and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement effective solutions • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with internal stakeholders • High level of integrity with the ability to handle confidential information responsibly Key Responsibilities • Manage daily accounting functions including processing, maintaining, and reconciling financial records • Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all financial transactions • Process creditor payments, perform bank reconciliations, and manage debtor and creditor accounts • Assist with monthly management reporting and annual audit preparation processes • Maintain the fixed asset register and ensure accurate tracking of company assets • Prepare and submit statutory returns including VAT and payroll related submissions • Administer monthly payroll processes ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations • Monitor financial performance against budgets and support management with financial insights • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies • Work closely with management to support accurate reporting and facilitate financial processes across departments ???????? ???? - Asap ???????????? – on application.
