Job Summary
A busy and well-established dental practice in the East Rand of Gauteng is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join their team. The ideal candidate will be professional, well-presented, and confident in managing a dental front office with efficiency and care.
The Ideal Starting Date would be: 5 January 2026 (if possible)
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental practice (non-negotiable)
- Proficiency in GoodX (or similar billing systems)
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused approach
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a professional front desk environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Managing patient bookings and the appointment schedule
- Handling phone calls, emails, and patient queries
- Billing and accounts using GoodX
- Managing patient files and documentation
- Assisting the dentist and team with general administrative support
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day front office operations
Salary: R16 000 – R18 000 gross (depending on experience)
Working hours: 07:30 - 17:30 (no weekends)
