Role Overview: An exciting opportunity for a dynamic and service-driven Food & Beverage Manager to lead the full F&B operation within a luxury safari lodge. This role focuses on delivering exceptional dining experiences, maintaining 5-star service standards, and leading a high-performing team in a remote bush environment. ? Key Responsibilities: ? Food & Beverage Operations • Oversee the full food and beverage operation across the lodge • Ensure exceptional guest dining experiences aligned with luxury standards • Maintain high levels of service, presentation, and guest satisfaction • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service delivery ? Team Leadership & Development • Lead, train, and mentor the F&B team • Manage staff performance and maintain team motivation • Foster a positive and service-driven team culture • Ensure staff adhere to grooming and service standards ? Stock Control & Cost Management • Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier coordination • Implement and maintain stock control systems • Manage cost control, wastage, and departmental efficiency • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting ? Beverage & Service Excellence • Develop and manage beverage offerings, including wine and bar service • Ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation • Stay up to date with trends and enhance the guest experience through innovation ? Guest Relations & Compliance • Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues professionally • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations • Maintain operational standards in line with lodge policies ? Minimum Requirements: • Previous experience in an F&B management role within luxury hospitality • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards • Solid understanding of stock control, costings, and budgeting • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • High attention to detail and organisational ability • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Professional presentation and strong guest focus ?
