Executive Sous Chef – Luxury Lodge | Bela Bela Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Executive Sous Chef for a luxury lodge in Bela Bela. This live-in role offers the opportunity to lead a high-performing kitchen team while ensuring exceptional culinary standards and memorable guest dining experiences. Requirements: · Proven 5-star kitchen experience in a luxury hospitality environment · Strong knowledge of all kitchen sections and culinary techniques · Experience leading, mentoring, and developing a kitchen team · Excellent understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene practices · Sound decision-making skills and the ability to work independently · Strong time management, organisational, and communication skills · Ability to work under pressure and maintain high-quality standards Key Responsibilities: · Oversee and supervise kitchen staff as required · Actively cook and train the team on menus and techniques · Assist the Executive Chef with menu planning, stock control, and supply management · Ensure all food produced is of exceptional quality, taste, and presentation · Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all workstations in compliance with food safety standards · Support and uphold all kitchen systems, standards, and service protocols · Assist in managing daily kitchen operations and workflow · Foster teamwork and a positive working environment among all kitchen personnel · Contribute to staff development through training, feedback, and performance management Package: · Salary: R23,000 – R25,000 per month (Negotiable, dependent on experience) · Accommodation: Live-in provided To apply for the Executive Sous Chef position, please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo to Simone@ Apply Below.
