What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide application support, including answering, resolving, and logging customer issues, and suggesting long-term solutions.
  
• Investigate and analyse system issues to determine causes and corrective actions.
  
• Design, develop, and deliver system enhancements within budget, timelines, and specifications, adhering to quality and industry standards.
  
• Offer system knowledge and consultancy for divisional and cross-divisional projects, ensuring business process requirements and best practices are met.
  
• Recommend and implement continuous improvement of systems and support processes.
  
• Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date system support information.
  
• Maintain data quality and integrity.
  
• Provide clear, professional communication to colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  
• Perform system maintenance tasks according to agreed schedules.
  

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering.
  
• 3+ years’ application support experience, including production systems.
  
• Strong SQL skills (queries, stored procedures, triggers, jobs); JIRA Service Management experience preferred.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, technical, and communication skills.
  
• Experience with database systems, reporting, and queries; financial markets knowledge is a plus.
  
• Eligible to work in South Africa.
