Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function for this luxury hospitality group. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic marketer with strong leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven ability to manage multiple luxury brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive revenue, and maintain the premium positioning of the portfolio. This role requires a hands-on leader who can inspire and manage an in-house marketing team while ensuring consistency and excellence across all marketing initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with business objectives. Lead and manage the in-house marketing team, including: Social Media Specialist Graphic Designer Content Creator Oversee the marketing strategy and execution across multiple luxury hospitality brands. Drive brand positioning and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, PR, partnerships, and events. Analyse campaign performance and provide regular reporting with actionable insights. Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Identify opportunities to bring additional marketing functions in-house, reducing reliance on external agencies where appropriate. Work closely with senior management and operational teams to support business growth and revenue objectives. Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing opportunities within the luxury hospitality sector. Ensure all marketing collateral reflects the group's high standards of quality and luxury. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: SA Citizen Matric / Grade 12 qualification Relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or related Proven experience as a Marketing Manager with a strong track record of delivering successful marketing strategies. Previous experience within the hospitality industry is highly preferred. Experience working with luxury brands or premium lifestyle brands essential. Strong leadership and people management skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously. Excellent project management and organisational skills. Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, content marketing, branding, and campaign management. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly creative with strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking. Ability to work under pressure, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
