Job Description
We are seeking a heavy mechanical technician with substantial experience in major equipment overhauls, component rebuilds and precision mechanical assembly.
Key Responsibilities
Work on heavy machinery and equipment.
Perform major engine overhauls and rebuilds.
Perform major component rebuilds.
Work with gearboxes and transmissions.
Work with bearings and shafts.
Perform precision fitting.
Dismantle and rebuild equipment.
Perform measurements.
Troubleshoot technical problems.
Conduct testing.
Requirements
28 years old or younger.
Preferably native Afrikaans-speaking or able to communicate fluently/conversationally in Afrikaans.
Good English communication skills.
Relevant technical qualification or trade.
Strong hands-on heavy mechanical experience.
Substantial overhaul/rebuild experience.
Experience with major components.
Precision fitting experience.
Willing to relocate internationally.
