Job Summary
My client operates in the agricultural technology and export space, supporting fresh produce supply chains through a commercial software platform. This role forms part of a growing operations team focused on optimizing export processes, strengthening client relationships, and expanding market presence.
As a Commercial Export Operations Account Manager, you’ll manage exporter, grower, and buyer relationships while ensuring efficient trade execution through the platform. You’ll work closely with commercial, product, and operations teams, contributing directly to client success and product improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and growing relationships with export, grower, and buyer clients
Supporting and optimizing export operations and logistics processes
Onboarding new clients and guiding them through platform implementation
Growing feature adoption to unlock additional value and revenue
Conducting market and commodity research across global regions
Supporting trade execution and operational workflows on the platform
Contributing to sales strategies, upselling, and pipeline growth
Delivering client presentations and live product demonstrations
Acting as a liaison between clients and internal product teams
Analyzing operational data to support decision‑making and improvements
This is a hands‑on role with visibility across operations, clients, and product evolution.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in export, logistics, fresh produce, or perishable goods environments
Experience in account management, operations, planning, or logistics roles
Strong client‑facing communication and relationship‑management skills
Commercial mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and analytical skills
Comfortable working under pressure and outside standard office hours
Intermediate to advanced data skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
Valid driver’s license (travel required)
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
