Job Summary
Qualification- Matric
- 1 – 2 Years' experience in Customer Service, Internal Sales, Administration or a similar environment.
- Previous experience in a repair facility, electrical motors (e.g. starter motor, wiper motor), engineering or technical environment will be an advantage.
- Experience with purchasing/procurement will be advantageous.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Accounting literacy.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn about electrical motors and related products.
- Own reliable transport to and from work.
- Receiving and processing customer repair enquiries and requests.
- Assisting customers with queries relating to electric motor repairs and turnaround times.
- Creating and following up on repair job cards and related documentation.
- Preparing and following up on quotations.
- Liaising with customers regarding repair progress, costs and completion dates.
- Coordinating with the Repair Facility/workshop to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Purchasing parts, materials and components required for repairs.
- Obtaining supplier quotations and placing purchase orders.
- Following up with suppliers on outstanding orders and delivery dates.
- Checking and following up on outstanding/back-ordered items.
- Liaising with the warehouse and dispatch departments regarding parts and completed repairs.
- Assisting with scheduling and coordinating repairs and deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating customers on job status.
- Providing administrative and reporting support to the Repair Facility.
- Assisting with invoicing and ensuring relevant documentation is complete.
- Handling customer complaints and resolving queries professionally.
- Supporting the external sales and internal sales teams where required.
- Attending relevant meetings.
- Performing general office and administrative duties.
