Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Commercial Management
- Lead, coach, and manage the branch sales team to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Develop and execute branch-level sales strategies aligned with company objectives
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key mining customers and stakeholders
- Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and commercial decision-making
- Monitor sales pipelines, forecasts, and performance metrics
Branch & Operational Management
- Take full accountability for branch performance, including sales, operations, and profitability
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve branch procedures, controls, and workflows
- Ensure effective coordination between sales, operations, finance, and technical teams
- Manage stock, assets, and resources to support operational efficiency
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations
People & Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and develop branch staff through clear expectations and performance management
- Build a high-performance, accountable culture focused on service excellence
- Identify skills gaps and support training and development initiatives
Reporting & Governance
- Prepare and manage branch budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reports
- Track KPIs and implement corrective actions where required
- Ensure accurate reporting and adherence to governance frameworks
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- Strong sales management and commercial acumen
- Proven ability to implement systems and procedures that drive consistency and control
- Decisive, accountable, and results-oriented leader
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation abilities
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Branch Manager or senior operational role within mining, screening, or heavy equipment sectors
- Strong sales leadership background with a track record of achieving targets
- Experience implementing operational procedures and managing multi-functional teams
- Sound financial and business management understanding
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer sites
- Relevant management, technical, or commercial qualification (advantageous)
