Job Summary
Qualification- Matric / Senior Certificate
- 3 to 5 years in a similar position.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of Products as well as working experience on an ERP system.
- Problem solving and analytical skills to improve on service delivery.
- Fastener knowledge (Nuts / Bolts / Washers etc.)
- Sales & Customer Relationships
- Handle all enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Process accurate quotations and sales orders in accordance with sales rules and procedures.
- Assist in the Branch reaching Budgeted Sales target by pursuing opportunities for new business.
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with customers and prospective customers to generate sales.
- Support the activities of External Sales and ensure regular follow up on outstanding quotes and orders.
- Coordinate sales efforts with sales management, sales representatives and dispatch.
- Ensure that product knowledge is developed and maintained and stay abreast of product applications and technical data.
- Ensure that customers are fully appraised of all related issues surrounding pricing, products and delivery, and that all correspondence from customers is responded to timeously.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating the issue, developing a solution and make recommendations to management or direct to customer if appropriate.
- Monitor the quality of customer service and report problems to External Sales as required.
- Monitor competition, gather market information on pricing, new and existing products and delivery lead times.
- Provide management with oral and written reports of customer needs.
- Do whatever is required to ensure Customer Satisfaction.
