Job Summary

This role requires an individual with strong technical product knowledge, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to conduct site visits, assessments, and on-site problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business and grow existing key accounts across mining, quarrying, industrial and engineering sectors
- Conduct site visits to evaluate plant needs and recommend suitable screening, filtration, and separation solutions
- Present technical products such as woven wire mesh, polyurethane screens, wedge wire, perforated plates, and conveyor components
- Prepare sales forecasts, call reports, and territory plans
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and product recommendations
- Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
- Attend client meetings, tender briefings, and industry networking events
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile):
- 3–5 years’ technical external sales experience in mining, industrial, engineering, or related industries
- Knowledge of screening media, industrial filtration, or mechanical/process equipment (advantageous)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively
- Ability to understand technical specifications and interpret plant requirements
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
