ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· AWS technologies: AWS Networking, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, Lambda, RDS, EKS, ElastiCache, Aurora, VPC
· Azure technologies: Azure networking, SQL, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor
· Kubernetes and Docker
· ITIL processes, in particular Incident, Problem Management, Configuration Management.
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· SQL – PostgreSQL preferable
· JSON, XML and YAML
· RESTful endpoints design and implementation
· ServiceNow
· TerraForm
· CI/CD pipeline setup – GitHub Actions, GitOps preferable
· TDD (Test driven development) / BDD (Behaviour driven development)
· JEE or Microprofile – Quarkus preferable
· Gradle
· Git / GitHub
· Grafana / Prometheus/Dynatrace
· React / React Redux
· Atlassian Jira / Confluence
· Experience in platforms (SCP,CDH,WebEAM,…)
· A strong team player that has a high level of ownership and responsibility

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
· At least 2 years AWS and Azure experience
· Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
· Java development experience of at least 5 years. (OCA preferable, OCP more so)
WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
· Primary responsibility is DevOps, with a strong focus on infrastructure, monitoring, debugging and fault-finding
· Handling of incidents according to BMW processes. Management/Coordination of Incidents across several internal & external support organisations
· Config management & Service management
· Active participation in Agile ceremonies
· Deployments/ Releases
· Required to attend to operational incidents when required as well as be on occasional standby
