Duties / Requirements
- Your primary responsibility will be to develop and grow new and existing accounts, meet agreed KPIs, and generate revenue that will directly support the establishment and expansion of company's SA’s lubrication testing laboratory.
- Lubrication & Condition Monitoring Specialist with responsibility for assisting in the setup, development, and technical leadership of our lubrication analysis lab.
- Conduct site visits and engage directly with Engineers, site foreman, maintenance and reliability teams.
- Develop new business opportunities in Mining Operations, Cement and Brick Manufacturing, large industrial and processing facilities.
- Present technical value propositions focused on Equipment reliability, reduced down time, lubricant optimisation and waste reduction.
- Maintain accurate reporting on Sales activity, pipeline and forecasting, customer feedback and site observations.
- Work closely with internal technical and support teams to ensure successful implementation and follow up.
- Represent company professionally at client meetings.
- Must have practical exposure to one or more of the following environments, Engineering roles on mines or large industrial sites, site foreman or supervisory experience in industrial operations, lubrication engineers or lubrication focused technical role.
- Lubrication sales experience with strong, existing industry contact base, proven ability to open doors and sustain long term relationships.
- Advantageous: Tertiary education (Engineering, Technical or Commercial discipline), Lubrication-related training or certificates such as MLA (Machinery lubrication analyst),formal sales training within a technical or industrial environment.
- Have strong technical capability and confidence on site.
- Ability to translate technical issues into commercial value.
- Professional communication and presentation skills.
- Self driven, disciplined and able to work independently.
- Structured reporting and planning ability.
- Long term mindset aligned with company's growth strategy.
