Requirements
- 2 – 3 years as a sales representative in an abrasive industry is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Suite with ability to navigate on any CRM system
- Own reliable vehicle and Driver's license
Duties
SALES PERFORMANCE & REVENUE GROWTH
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Implement regional sales strategies in line with the company’s national objectives.
- Monitor sales trends and adjust strategies to maximise revenue potential.
- Generate and manage sales leads to ensure consistent pipeline growth.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and key stakeholders.
- Provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs and enhance satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions.
- Implement customer retention strategies to build long-term partnerships.
MARKET PENETRATION & BRAND POSITIONING
- Identify market trends and capitalise on opportunities for growth.
- Promote the company’s products through targeted outreach and presentations.
- Ensure brand consistency and product positioning within the assigned territory.
- Gather and report market intelligence to support competitive positioning.
SALES OPERATIONS & REPORTING
- Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and competitor insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front office, accounts, production, and stores, to optimise sales operations.
- Adhere to budgetary guidelines and cost-effective sales strategies.
COMPLIANCE & RISK MANAGEMENT
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
- Mitigate risks related to pricing, credit management, and contractual agreements.
- Uphold ethical sales practices to maintain the company’s reputation.
