Job Summary
Our client, a well-established engineering and automation specialist, is seeking an E-Plan Designer to support the design and implementation of advanced automation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed electrical designs and schematics using E-Plan, assisting with control system concepts and hardware selection, preparing manufacturing and installation documentation, and providing technical support during project execution and commissioning phases. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and a dynamic project-driven environment.
Education:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Minimum 5 years' experience within automation and electrical design environments.
- Proficiency in E-Plan electrical design software.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation systems and electrical design principles.
- Knowledge of South African electrical standards, including SANS 10142, and international standards.
- Experience developing detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation projects will be advantageous.
