Job & Company Description:
As an RF Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of RF systems, including design, simulation, testing, and commissioning. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
This role offers exposure to complex communication systems and the opportunity to work hands-on in both lab and field environments, ensuring seamless integration and optimal system performance.
Education:
- BEng / BSc in Electronic / Electrical Engineering or related field
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 3–8 years’ experience in RF design and commissioning
- Strong knowledge of RF systems, antennas, and propagation principles
- Experience with RF design tools and simulation software (e.g. HFSS, ADS, CST or similar)
- Hands-on experience with RF testing equipment (spectrum analysers, signal generators, network analysers)
- Proven experience commissioning RF systems on-site and troubleshooting performance issues
- Understanding of wireless communication systems and protocols
- Ability to interpret schematics, layouts, and technical documentation
- Knowledge of compliance standards and EMC considerations advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop RF circuits and systems
- Perform simulations and optimise RF performance
- Conduct laboratory testing and validation
- Lead on-site commissioning and system integration
- Diagnose and resolve RF-related issues during deployment
- Collaborate with project, hardware, and software teams
