Requirements: Degree in engineering Post graduate diploma / certificate / course in sales and marketing 2+ Years' experience in sales
Responsibilities: • Market traffic logger products and systems (traffic data monitoring) • Sell and support Mikros solutions and services • Focus on growing new clients and business opportunities • Export focus • Good communication skills • Capable of building quality professional relationships with clients • Able to work independently • Good team player • Conflict resolution skills • Computer literate - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook • Good "face of the company", telephone and email etiquette • General day to day sales administration when necessary • Be prepared to travel and stay away from home regularly • Be technically proficient enough to market and support (2nd line) • Assist with product management and new product evaluation
Technical Skills and Knowledge: • Be able to work alone and well in a team-orientated environment • Have a relentless drive to achieve new business and sales targets • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Must be able to function in a pressured environment independently • Be able to Multi-task • Must be able to liaise with customers and members of the organisation at all levels • Willing to work overtime as part of the job function • Willing to travel overseas and be away from home regularly • Resolve customers issues including those that are perhaps technical • Self-starter • Willing to learn • Nice to have - project management expertise • Ability to train/coach customer technicians for product range of traffic monitoring equipment
